Bruno Cidra (1982), graduated 2007 in Sculpture at the Fine Arts Academy in Lisbon, having already won the D. Fernando II Award for Sculpture in 2005.

He already realized several individual exhibitions, in 2007 “Campus V”, Lagar de Azeite, Oeiras, and in 2006 “Conflicto de Matérias”, Fitares Gallery, Sintra.

2008 has revealed itself an important year for the artist, as he has been nominated for the EDP New Artists Award, as well as having participated in his show “Afterthought”, in Reims, France, curated by Anja Isabel Schneider.

He also participated in several group shows in 2008, in “Tracção” at Artecontempo, Lisbon, as well as in the shows “Eurasia” at Casa-Museu Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves, Lisbon, and “Ocorrência” at Baginski, Gallery/Projects, Lisbon. In 2007, he was present in “Antes que a produção cesse”, Espaço Avenida, and at Trema Gallery, Lisbon; and in 2006, “O Pavilhão de Augusta Narval”, Rua do Alecrim 28b, Lisbon.
